Data We Collect
DE Resume Scanner collects minimal data to provide our service:
- IP addresses for rate limiting (3 scans per day)
- Resume and job description text (processed in real-time, not stored)
How We Use Your Data
Your resume and job description are sent to OpenRouter API for AI analysis. This data is:
- Processed in real-time
- Not stored on our servers
- Not used for training AI models
- Deleted immediately after analysis
Rate Limiting
We use Upstash Redis to store IP addresses temporarily for rate limiting. This data is automatically deleted after 24 hours.
No User Accounts
DE Resume Scanner does not require user accounts, email addresses, or any personal information. All scans are completely anonymous.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- OpenRouter: AI analysis provider - your resume text is sent to their API (via OpenAI GPT-4o-mini) for keyword extraction and scoring. OpenRouter's privacy policy applies to this processing.
- Upstash Redis: Rate limiting storage - stores hashed IP addresses for 24 hours
- Vercel: Hosting and edge functions
Your Rights
Since we don't store personal data, there's nothing to delete or export. Your data is processed and immediately discarded.
